2805mm的轴距是一个相当有诱惑力的数字，但并意味着EC8只重后排的商务车，2.4L动力还是让这个大家伙的灵活自如，这款发动机采用了三菱的EIVEC气门正时与升程电子控制技术，从参数上看，最大功率可以达到115kw，4000rpm时输出213Nm的最大扭矩，与之匹配的是一台4速手自一体变速箱的换档平顺度不错，不过油耗上就有待商榷。

其实帝豪EC8最重要的一点还是来自于出色的隔音处理，这方面的表现在我们之前试驾EC7的时候已经有了体会，而EC8随着定位的提升这方面的处理也会随之更好。从厂家的资料来看，帝豪EC8车身内部采用了22项隔音工程，包括许多隔音、降噪、减震技术。即使在高速状态车内前后排乘客的正常交谈和音响里的音乐均不受影响。

EC7的细腻实用、两厢RV的时尚线条、EC8的稳定大方，对于原创品质的帝豪，已经在品牌口碑上迈出了一大步。
