10月8日，太平洋保险向泰顺客户蔡先生的家属支付3.5万元赔款，完成公司在“菲特”台风中首例人身伤亡赔付，整个赔付过程用时不到一天。
10月7日下午，太平洋保险接到95500客户报案，“安贷宝”客户蔡先生当天凌晨为防台风上屋顶检查，不慎意外摔落身故。接到报案后，当地机构理赔调查人员顶着狂风暴雨赶到客户家中核实事故情况，并立刻开通理赔绿色通道支付该笔赔款。
截至10月9日下午1时，太平洋保险在福建、浙江、上海、苏州、无锡等地共接到与台风相关的财产险和人身险报案逾1.24万件。目前，这些报案均已进入理赔程序。
