外币结汇是指外汇收款人将外汇卖给银行，银行按照外币的汇率支付给等值的人民币。凡未有规定或未经核准可以保留现汇的经常项目项下的外汇收入必须办理结汇；凡未规定或核准结汇的资本项目项下的外汇收入不得办理结汇。境内机构必须对其外汇收入区分经常项目与资本项目；银行按照外汇收入不同性质按规定分别办理结汇或入帐手续。凡无法证明属于经常项目的外汇收入，均应按照资本项目外汇结汇的有关规定办理。
