一支由太平洋保险5名查勘定损服务人员组成的工作小组，今晨6点40分已抵达云南彝良地震震中洛者河镇。到达震中的工作小组正紧急走访客户单位，了解客户伤亡和财产损失情况。
获悉云南彝良地震后，太平洋保险集团和产、寿险总公司要求在滇分支机构立即启动应急响应预案，扎实开展客户排查和地震损失查勘理赔工作。太平洋寿险云南分公司通过电话和网络开始对震区客户逐一访问，表达公司的关怀与慰问，了解是否出险和需要救援等情况。截至目前，太平洋保险已筛选出地址为彝良的被保险人1017人，确认有一名客户遇难，20万元保险金已于8日上午给付。这是太平洋保险在这次地震发生后的首笔赔付。
