二、斯里巴加湾

斯里巴加湾市是文莱的首都，意为“和平的市镇”。“斯里巴加湾市”分为旧城区和新城区两个部分。旧城区则为被称为“东方威尼斯”的“冈邦阿依水村”，建在水上，水下是一排排木桩，桩上搭建木屋，也有街巷之分。水上屋外观虽显陈旧，但内部装修豪华，设施齐全，学校、医院、市场、邮局一应俱全，不用上岸，便能方便的生活。

虽然文莱地处东南亚，天气炎热，但是屋内透过地板印上来的阴凉的文莱河水，使整个房间都充满凉意，无需开冷气。推开窗，奥玛尔·阿里·赛福鼎清真寺传来的阵阵诵经声在屋内余音绕梁，顿时令人心生宁静。

新城区风景优美，街道整洁。树木繁盛，绿草如茵。建筑多为二层楼房，街道两旁现代化的医院，银行和英国式的政府办公大楼及豪华公寓。
