“戏曲演员青黄不接，人才匮乏，城市的孩子多不愿学，农村的孩子学起来，学费让一个家庭很吃力。”1月29日，参加河南省政协十一届三次会议的孟祥礼委员建议省内的戏曲学校免费招生。

孟祥礼说，现在省内的大专或中专类戏曲人才培养学校，每年学费都得四五千元，学习周期一般5年，下来带生活费算起来得四五万元，这对一个普通农村家庭来说，是笔不小的支出。

“现在中国戏曲学院地方戏专业的学生，上学都是免费的。”孟祥礼说，他建议省内的戏曲培训学校也免费，以吸引更多的孩子学戏。(记者尚国傲)
