黄巢山位于东田镇，海拔1095米。因唐末黄巢农民起义军在此屯兵扎营而得名。黄巢山以峡谷著称，以山俏、瀑美、潭碧、水清而闻名，由于山势跌宕，绝壁高耸，峰林重叠，形成许多断崖、石壁、峰林、瀑布。区内溪河交错，四季如春，动植物资源丰富，风光秀丽迷人，素有“闽南最美丽的峡谷”、“闽南张家界”之美誉。
