戴尔电脑扩大回收计划

戴尔电脑已经宣布，将有319个Goodwill Industries International捐赠点加入公司的回收计划。这个计划是2004年开始实施的。
戴尔公司表示，随着电子产品回收再利用计划的扩大，将会在包括佛罗里达、俄亥俄、阿拉巴马、堪萨斯等州的77个郡增加额外的回收点。现在有超过2600家Goodwill的回收点遍布美国和加拿大，它们为超过680万家庭提供免费的电子产品回收。
根据戴尔公司表述，该回收计划的扩展，每年将会从垃圾掩埋场转移额外的750万磅废弃电子产品。
Goodwill Industries International的董事长和CEO表示，DELL电子产品回收计划是戴尔公司和Goodwill公司共同为环境可持续发展做出的努力，这个计划还帮助残疾人和弱势群体得到培训和就业的机会。这个计划的收入可以允许我们提高和扩展我们对社区的服务和创造新的就业机会。
