北京时间4月18日消息，据彭博社报道，巴西央行自2011年7月来首次上调基准利率，因决策者试图遏制正在损害经济复苏的通胀。

央行将基准利率由创纪录低点上调25个基点至7.50%，与彭博调查58位经济学家预测中值相符。

随着巴西3月份的通胀年率自2011年11月来首次突破央行的目标区间，该国政府因此正面临新一轮控制物价的压力。

尽管当局下调了消费税并且央行在去年10月份将基准利率下调至7.25%，但通胀正侵蚀人们的购买力并抑制需求。巴西2月份零售销售在三个月内第二次下滑。
