沿海小镇的房地产代理人表示博得鲁姆、马尔马里斯和费特希耶沿海房屋的租金已涨至1,000土耳其里拉，来这里游玩的度假者现在很难租到价格合适的房屋。马尔马里斯房地产协会主席Hasan Ateş在接受安纳托利亚新闻社采访时表示：虽然我们新建了很多住房建筑，但求租者们仍抱怨很难租到价格合适的房屋。Ateş说：“出租房屋供不应求的情况从去年开始出现，发展到今年已颇为严重。想要租到一个月租500至600里拉的房子绝非易事。租金的涨幅超出我们的预料。这里有很多月租900至1000里拉的房屋，但是这个价格不符合客人的预算。”Ateş说往年很多季节工都会在夏季末搬离这里，但是现在他们也担心明年夏季很难租到房子，所以大都租住一整年，这也导致出租房屋供不应求的问题进一步加剧和恶化。
