湖南卫视《我是歌手》已经播出三期，节目更是火得一塌糊涂，此前刚刚播出第二期，就有网友爆料杨宗纬将成为第三期的补位选手，而节目正在播出第三期的过程中，就有自称正在第五期节目录制现场的网友爆料称，刚刚补位上来的杨宗纬将在第四期被淘汰，而小哥齐秦也在第五期退赛。

在刚刚播出的《我是歌手》第三期节目中，新人亮相的杨宗纬深情并茂地演唱了一首王菲的《矜持》，虽然打动了不少观众，但一曲唱完后，他也在休息区表示，看过首期节目后，自己还曾和经纪人开玩笑要换歌。

第二轮第一期结果公布后，杨宗纬遗憾排在了第七名，而也有网友分析，论实力杨宗纬不输任何一位歌手，而此次排位最后的原因很可能是因为选歌不对，他并没有发挥出自己最大的优势，再有就是和其他6位在台上已经演唱过三轮的歌手相比，“新人”杨宗纬显然对这个舞台还有些陌生，不够游刃有余。

而就在节目播出的过程中，有网友在微博中爆料称，杨宗纬将在第四期被淘汰。虽然该爆料者并没有任何身份认证，但他表示自己正在第五期的录制现场，不过，根据本期节目中杨宗纬的排名来看，下一期他被淘汰的可能性也非常大。不仅如此，这名网友还表示，顶替杨宗纬出场的，将是台湾情歌老手林志炫，但该网友并未透露林志炫演唱的是哪首歌曲。

不过，该爆料者却表示，第五期中，尚雯婕改编了一首迈克.杰克逊的歌曲，陈明则将挑战蔡依林的《日不落》。
