我市启动首个外来工子女夏令营 开展多种文明主题演讲

厦门网-厦门日报讯（记者 王元晖）“在学校，要做一个讲文明的好学生；在家里，要做一个讲文明的好孩子；在公共场合，要做一个讲文明的小公民……”昨天，市人大代表、湖里区关心下一代讲解团成员叶福伟一番激情洋溢的演讲，不仅让在场的数百名孩子受益匪浅，同时也掀开了厦门首个外来工子女夏令营的序幕。

昨天下午在岛内外来工聚居密度最高的后坑自然村启动的这场夏令营的营员，全部都是在厦务工的外来工子女；开营的时间，贯穿整个暑假；接下来的活动内容，不是游山玩水，而是进行多种文明主题的宣传教育，并通过组织读书和体育运动，让孩子们学习更多的课外知识。

据介绍，后坑自然村位于湖里区金山街道，目前拥有外来务工人员15000多名。昨日启动的我市首个外来工子女夏令营，将以“做一个有礼貌的文明学生”为主题，邀请人大代表、专家教授、派出所民警、社区工作者等，分别从不同侧面给孩子们带来精彩演讲。
