意大利威尼斯禁止巨型游轮在城市水路通航

据英国《每日邮报》9月1日报道，在打击水上交通事故的背景下，加之两周前一名德国游客的死亡，意大利环境部长随之提出禁止巨型游轮在威尼斯境内通航的倡议。

意外死亡的德国游客名叫Joachim Vogel，是一位刑法教授。事发当时Joachim Vogel正和家人在威尼斯的里亚尔托桥搭乘贡多拉游览，不幸小船被一艘水上巴士迎面撞上，船被挤到岸边，船体粉碎。

报道称，一旦禁止巨型游轮在威尼斯境内通航的倡议实施后，巨型游轮将永远的从威尼斯的天际线消失，成为历史。

道路交通事故的频发促使官方采取一系列的新交通安全规则包括在大运河上化出一个“水上交通堵塞区”以缓解水路交通高峰期的混乱状态。事实上，威尼斯的人民一直在和穿过泻湖的巨型游轮做着斗争，在六月，他们甚至组建了一支船队在水域中进行抗议。

支持禁船令议案的民众称，有的巨型游轮有十层楼高，这样的游轮不仅会侵蚀运河还会破坏城市的基础设施，破坏的结果会导致冬季洪水泛滥，还会破坏舄湖脆弱的生态环境。

虽然游轮公司会向当地居民付大笔港口费，但是船上的乘客吃睡经常都在船上，对当地的饭店和酒店根本没什么贡献。

“歌诗达协和号”游轮正在威尼斯圣马可广场前的海域中航行，因为威尼斯城内的水路已经禁止大型游轮通航。

Vogel先生的去世促使人们呼吁增加安全措施包括大运河上的“水上交通堵塞区”。

反游轮游说团体称，大型船只正在破坏威尼斯脆弱的基础设施并侵蚀着大运河。
